    Wardah Inam MIT EECS PhD: Co-Founder and CEO, Overjet

    I am the co-founder and CEO of Overjet. At Overjet we are building technology to make dental care affordable and convenient for everyon. Prior to this, I was the Lead Product Manager at Q bio, focused on simulation and quantification of the human physiology. I did a postdoc at MIT CSAIL focused on Emerald a machine learning based device which uses wireless signals for remote monitoring of vital signs and tracking of physical movement. I received my PhD from MIT focused on autonomous microgrids, Over the course of my PhD, I did two internships at GE and Apple. I co-founded a startup, uLink, to build technology that lowers the cost of electricity access. uLink's AI driven electronics and analytics platform enabled energy companies to provide lowest cost electricity by forming plug & play microgrids. uLink was recognized by National Geographic as one of tech breakthroughs that could help power the world.

    Brian Colao: Director, Dykema DSO Industry Group

    Brian has practiced as an attorney for more than 25 years, focusing on a broad range of healthcare regulatory matters, healthcare M&A matters, and business and commercial litigation. However, it is Brian’s work with the dental industry where he has made the most significant impact. As the leader of Dykema’s DSO industry group, Brian and the team leads the industry in dental and medical transactions.

    Brian became involved in the DSO industry over 20 years ago when he represented a group of 90 orthodontists in litigation with OrthAlliance, Inc. and Orthodontic Centers of America, handling cases of first impression which involved the corporate practice of dentistry and fee-splitting in 18 states.

    This and other prominent outcomes resulted in legal opinions that defined and established law in this area, helped define the law on the legality of the DSO model, and has set the standard for compliance and DSO due diligence.

Samow was most recently executive vice president at Straumann Group where she managed its fast-growing global dental service organization business unit. Samow partnered closely with ClearChoice as the business was her largest customer. Prior to Straumann, she held a series of senior executive roles at Siemens Healthineers.
